In early 2019, TuneIn conducted its research-based product visioning project with external consultation firms. The product design team participated in the whole process and learned a lot of valuable knowledge about our users. By gathering findings we studied from deep market and user research, our team was committed to building High-fidelity UI design with interaction & motion. Many ideas we discovered finally turned real, while some ideas inspired new insights across the company.
Due to the high demand of prototypes for validating ideas, I also helped formalized a rapid prototyping process for effective cooperation.
The following are some examples from this project.
TuneIn service is integrated into many car manufacturers, but we see an improved car mode can be beneficial for the user who owns a car without TuneIn integrated. This concept successfully helps prioritize the in-car listening research project and inspires the exploration of in-app voice interactivity.
We want to explore a compelling now playing experience that has richer content and new features for our users. Many of the ideas turned live after the exercise.
Radio is always on, we hope our users can enjoy the content they love across any platform and device at any time, never miss a beat.
Ads allow free users to enjoy TuneIn’s services, and we consider the Ad experience as a part of the great listening experience by prototyping a voice-enable and content-aware experience.
